WALLIX GROUP, a software company providing cyber-security and governance solutions for information system access, has announced the acquisition of MLstate's activities. This strategic operation will enable WALLIX GROUP to strengthen its technological expertise in Cloud computing and complete its portfolio of software solutions to protect sensitive data for companies and organizations.



Founded by Henri Binsztok, a lecturer and researcher for the Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris, MLstate combines extensive technological expertise in web applications security with substantial experience in Cloud computing developed since its creation in 2007.


Winner of an award from the French Ministry of Research, the company notably designed and developed its proprietary secure communications solution Peps. Winner of an award from the French Ministry of Research, Peps is an open source platform that handles e-mail and instant messaging (chat) with end-to-end encryption thanks to the state of the art cryptography with a user-friendly interface based on an SaaS (Software as a Service) model. 



Combining WALLIX GROUP's expertise with MLstate's work in Cloud solutions is a new milestone in the Group's development roadmap and for enrich its existing solutions and develop future applications.

The Peps solution designed by MLstate will add complementary collaborative tools to the software solutions marketed by WALLIX GROUP and new expertise to extend WAB functionalities to Cloud environments, allowing the Group to further enhance the wealth and easy deployment and administration of its offers, one of the keys to its success with users.

Through this strategic acquisition of MLstate's assets, WALLIX GROUP intends to cement its technological lead in cyber-security and reinforce its range of solutions in order to anticipate the critical data security needs of companies that host their activities Cloud systems by arming them with the tools they need to monitor new gateways for cyber-attackers. 

In order to ensure the successful execution of new developments, Henri Binsztok has been appointed Head of Cloud Products for WALLIX GROUP. The operation, for which the terms and conditions remain confidential, will be financed entirely in cash with no recourse to bank loans.
