The MAISONS FRANCE CONFORT Group accerelarates in growth in the Renovation business

In accordance with the declared strategy to increase its positions in the Renovation business, the MAISONS FRANCE CONFORT Group announces a majority holding (51%) in Groupe L'Atelier des Compagnons, with an agreement on the terms of progressive development of this holding.

The current managing directors, Fabien and Michael BERTINI, aged 40 and 37 respectively, retain their functions, with a firm commitment to support the development over the next 9 years, and an ambitious objective to double in size within 5 years.

Founded in 1985 by Richard BERTINI, Master Craftsman and Compagnon du Devoir, and managed by his sons, Fabien and Michael BERTINI since 2004, Groupe L'Atelier des Compagnons brings together L'Atelier des Compagnons and Espace Euro Services. It mainly operates in the BtoB segment, with a broad range of projects, running from renovation to maintenance, including thermal engineering and facade treatments. Groupe L'Atelier des Compagnons now perfectly completes the expertise and positioning of the Rénovert, Camif Habitat and Illico Travaux activities, oriented towards BtoC renovation.

Highly present and widely recognised in the Ile-de-France region, L'Atelier des Compagnons, to be consolidated as of 1^st January 2017, has posted 2016 sales of €50M and an EBITDA of €4.5M. The company presently employs 200 people. At 31 December 2016, the financial structure is sound with consolidated shareholders' equity estimated at €22M and a cash position net of debt of €3.7M. This key acquisition for the Renovation division of MAISONS FRANCE CONFORT is immediately accretive.

Beyond the development of this growth relay, the Group is also committed to significant synergies primarily on purchases, the nationwide development of this activity and the accelerating deployment of Group innovations.

Involved in digital technology, Groupe L'Atelier des Compagnons initiated the Bâtiment 2.0 project, that reinvents, at the heart of the R&D centre and via digital technologies, the day-to-day life of the building trades. The Group was awarded the Grand prix 2015 for growth companies (real estate, construction and building and public works category) and was a 2016 finalist for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year award.

With the entry into the scope of Groupe L'Atelier des Compagnons, MAISONS FRANCE CONFORT strengthens its leadership position in the buoyant renovation sector and reaffirms its ambition of diversifying its activity (renovation, land development, RE development…).
