Aix-en-Provence (France), May 30, 2016. Global EcoPower (Alternext – FR0011289198 – ALGEP) is proud to announce the connection to the ERDF electrical grid of the wind farm Parc Eolien de Seuil Mont-Laurent (PESML) located in the department of Ardennes (France), with an installed capacity of 10 MW. This new achievement brings to more than 100 MW the number of MW built by GEP to date (102.68 MW).

Second wind farm built by Global EcoPower on its own equity, after the 10 MW power plant of Vallée du Don in the department of Loire-Atlantique (France), this plant is located in the municipalities of Seuil and Mont-Laurent in the department of Ardennes (France). It consists of five Vestas V90 turbines with a hub height of 78 m and a unit capacity of 2 MW.

According to the initial schedule, the turbine assembly phase ended on May 13, 2016 and the plant was commissioned on May 25, 2016.

The PESML wind farm will produce approximately 26.5 GWh/year, which corresponds to the electricity consumption of 10,000 households (excluding heating) and prevents the emission of 6,500 tons of CO₂ per year.

GEP, who owns 60% of PESML, is currently pursuing advanced negotiations for the turnkey sale of this power plant to an institutional investor. The finalization of the sale is scheduled for mid-2016.
